What age group is the escape room designed for?
We recommend our escape rooms for kids 5 and up. Younger children may join and participate a little bit but we won’t charge for them. We design our escape rooms to be a great family activity where kids, parents and even grandparents can work together. Kids under 10 are recommended to have an adult on the team to supervise and assist them. Older kids are usually great at solving the puzzles without an adult in the escape room.
Can kids actually solve the puzzles?
The puzzles are definitely solvable! The key to success inside this Toronto escape room is teamwork and communication. Everyone is going to need to share their ideas and work as a team to make progress in the escape room. Be aware that kids are creative and love to play; this means that when adults are busy overthinking a puzzle, young players may already have the solution. We are always monitoring the escape games and provide unlimited hints to help the team move forward.
Can I book the escape room for a birthday party?
Our escape rooms create a magical and memorable experience, and we can help make the day extra special for your child and their friends.
What is included in birthday party packages? Is there a party room?
We do not offer birthday party packages and we do not have a party room. The escape room is a very popular activity to celebrate birthdays. You can book 1 or 2 rooms around the same time, depending on the team size.
How do we book the escape room?
You can book on our website or give us a call for assistance. To book you need a minimum of 3 players. If your team is larger than 10 players, we recommend booking both escape rooms simultaneously. If you have 1-2 extra players above the recommended capacity, we can accommodate that. If you’re not sure of the team size, just book for the players you are expecting. It is always a private booking and we will do a final headcount on the day of the event.
How many kids can participate at once?
All the escape rooms are recommended for at least 3 players and the maximum depends on the game you select. Generally, you can have 10 kids in an escape room. If you have more players than this, you can also book multiple rooms at similar timeslots. We will do our best to start these around the same time.
Do parents need to stay during the game?
We ask you to consider the children’s age and abilities to determine if an adult supervisor should join the team. We are not supervising the kids and will only be able to provide hints to puzzles. Kids are great at solving puzzles but may struggle with teamwork and staying on task. For kids aged 8-10, an adult on the team may be helpful but you may choose to wait in the lobby. For kids 7 and under, an adult is required to join the team.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking ahead to reserve your preferred time, especially on weekends and for birthday parties. You can easily book online or contact us for availability.
What if I’ve never done an escape room before?
No problem! All of our escape room’s are beginner-friendly and guided by supportive game masters. Whether you’re a first-timer or an escape room fan, we’ve designed this room to be fun, accessible, and unforgettable.
Will other people join our team?
Every booking is a private escape room experience. That means only your group will be in the room—no sharing with strangers.
How much does the escape room cost?
Pricing is per player and depends on the adventure you choose. For 75 minute escape rooms, it is $46 / person and 60 minute escape rooms it is $40 / person.
