Daydream Adventures designs kid friendly games at our Toronto escape room locations. Your team can choose between 4 themed adventures. Inside the escape room, players explore a movie-like set to discover clues. With immersive storytelling and adaptive gameplay, kids will feel like characters in the story and not realize they are actually solving puzzles. This is a great screen-free activity for kids to build social and logical skills! There is a host (called a gamemaster) that keeps an eye on the team’s progress and is available to provide unlimited hints.

Can my kids actually solve the puzzles?
The puzzles are definitely solvable! The key to success inside this Toronto escape room is teamwork and communication. Everyone is going to need to share their ideas and work as a team to make progress in the escape room. Be aware that kids are creative and love to play; this means that when adults are busy overthinking a puzzle, young players may already have the solution. We are always monitoring the escape games and provide unlimited hints to help the team move forward.
How old do they need to be and do they need an adult?
We recommend our escape rooms for kids 5 and up. Younger children may join and participate a little bit but we won’t charge for them. Daydream Adventures is a great family activity where kids, parents and even grandparents can work together. Kids under 10 are recommended to have an adult on the team to supervise and assist them. Older kids are usually great at solving the puzzles without an adult in the escape room.
Is this only good for kids and not for adults?
No! Don’t think that a family-friendly escape room means it is only for kids. It just means that our design team spent a long time thinking about and testing out how the experience can adapt to different teams. It is a lot like watching a great movie with the whole family – while the themes are appropriate for kids, there are always things the adults understand differently. Daydream is all about unique gameplay elements and immersive story experiences.
Is this good for kids’ birthday parties?
Yes! Our unique escape rooms are popular for kids birthday parties in Toronto. Kids are great at working together inside the escape room to solve puzzles. We ask that you consider the children’s abilities to decide if an adult should join the party to supervise and assist the team.
